ULTRA VP SOFTWARE - HOW TO INSTALL YOUR NEW 3.1 VERSION
Swap out your older Ultra VP software witrh the drive you just received (how-to video). Please watch the following videos to properly install your new Ultra VP Software version. IMPORTANT! Please note that when you first boot into your new drive, the new Menu System will NOT necessarily move selections with the flipper buttons. If that is the case, hit your flipper buttons several times until it kicks you out into Windows. Then use your keyboard to restart Windows. If it still doesn't work after a reboot, repeat this process until it does (it should work on the third attempt). This behavior is due to Windows configuring itself properly behind the scenes.
These next two steps are only for newer Ultra VP with coin door buttons (7.0 or higher models)
• STEP 4 - USB Warning Pop-Up Window Fix (on occasion, you may see a USB warning pop-up window when you boot your Ultra VP) • STEP 5 - Clone your drive Test everything and clone the fully working/installed drive to a clone drive (it can take up to 8 hours to clone on your cloning station). Then test the clone drive! Finally swap it out with your primary drive and tape the clone drive with painters tape to the inside of your backbox. Do not skip this step even if you purchased an second clone copy from us (the second clone copy does not have all the configuration steps applied to it that are PC specific).
SSD CAPACITY If you don't have a blank 2TB (or higher) capacity SSD drive to clone to please make sure you purchase one with enough capacity to match your primary SSD we sent you. We recommend sticking witH the Teamgroup brand. If you buy another brand you may find that it cannot be cloned to due to slight capacity differentials.
FOLDER YOU CAN DELETE TO CREATE MORE EMPTY SPACE We found out that there are duplicate files on the 3.1 version. You can empty about 180 Gigabytes bt deleting the following folder. Of course make a clone copy before you do this. Here is the folder you can delete completely: C:\vPinball\PinUPSystem\POPMedia2 (don't forget to empty your Windows Trashcan if you didn't hold down the Shift key with the Delete action).

Pinball Tables Low Sound Level Fix 1) Start by checking the Pinvolvol.ini file in the PinVol folder on your C: drive. Right click on that file and select Edit. The volume values should be 55, 10, 100 in that order for the various choices. Don't forget to save before exiting. ONGOING UPDATES Now that we are caught up and have released Ultra VP Software v3.0, it is much easier for them to keep up with the latest table releases for our next version (expected 4.0 release date is towards the end of the year).
